Arc Publications...
specialises in the publication of contemporary poetry from new and established writers in the UK and abroad, with special emphasis on the work of world poets writing in English, and the work of overseas poets in translation.
has a more rapidly expanding list of titles by overseas writers in translation - published as parallel-text editions - than most other UK publishers. Many of these writers are renowned in their native countries but their work has been largely unavailable, and therefore little known, in the UK. We are proud to redress the balance by offering them UK publication.
is now in its fourth decade of publishing contemporary poetry, and reviews its list with a certain amount of pride. This list contains many first collections by poets who have subsequently become familiar, and highly regarded, names in the literary world.
is still unafraid to take risks, and continues its policy of publishing the best in contemporary poetry from the UK and abroad, whether by established poets or new, unknown voices, and promises a list full of surprises. But please read our policy on unsolicited manuscripts before you send anything!
