JACKIE WILLS is involved in a project with the London Symphony Orchestra throughout January 2007, working with the composer Paul Rissman and a group of teenagers to create a piece about the London bombings. The finished piece, a response to John Adams's 'The Transmigration of Souls' about the terrorist attacks in New York on September 11th, will receive its first performance in the Barbican Foyer at 6.45 pm on Sunday 28 January, shortly before a performance of 'The Transmigration of Souls' in the Barbican, conducted by the composer.
A poem by Jackie Wills, 'Lovers' Triptych' from Fever Tree (Arc, 2004) has been included on the back of a dress (pictured left) designed by the innovative fashion designer, Helen Storey.
