Events this weekend

Posted 8th December 2011

Two Arc poets are involved in different events this weekend:

James Byrne will be at the Southbank centre for the event 'Echoes of Geoffrey Hill', which will take place on Sunday afternoon. James will reading from his own poetry and that of Geoffrey Hill, 'in celebration of the revered poet's influence'. Admission is free, and James Byrne will be joined by other new poets from across the UK. More information at the Southbank website.

Lorna Thorpe, meanwhile, will be at the Camelford Poetry Stanza on Saturday, reading from Sweet Torture of Breathing. For details, go to the Cornwall Poetry Society's web page.

These both promise to be fantastic events.
