Out of Exile

Out of Exile

by Alexis Lykiard

This selection of poems spans the fifteen years 1968-1983, and excludes Lykiard's first full-length book of poetry (Robe of Skin Allison and Busby 1969) which covers work written between 1958-1968, and also all work from two later full-length collections, Milesian Fables and Cat Kin which the author feel stands apart from other poetry written during this period.

Like all Lykiard's poetry, this collection is controversial, direct and compulsively readable.

First edition limited to 500 copies, of which 15 are numbered and signed by the author. Published by Arc Publications, Todmorden and designed and printed by Tony Ward at the Arc & Throstle Press, Todmorden. Laminated card cover with illustration and printing. 21.5 x 14 cms.
