M, by Antony Rowland

Reader reviews

This book is really quite amazing. Just for the way the poet uses sound alone, as a way to write the poem like a musical score. I think of Paul Celan or, closer to home, Basil Bunting (Brigflatts). I live in Manchester but didn't know Rowland's poetry. It's something special. This is a book that you can keep reading and keep reading aloud. I now want to read everything he's written.
