From VICTOR RODRIGUEZ NUNEZ, Cuba-USA

When I gave the Slovenian poet Tomaž Šalamun a copy of The Infinite’s Ash, he compensated by giving me a copy of Row. This took place in Medana, Slovenia in August 2008, and since then we’ve been good friends and collaborators. When I gave the Dutch poet Arjen Duinker a copy of this collection of my early poetry translated into English, he compensated with The Sublime Song of a Maybe. This took place in Granada, Nicaragua in February 2009, and since then we’ve been good friends and collaborators. Each of these books forms part of Arc’s catalogue of poetry in translation, undoubtedly the most complete and varied in the English-speaking world. This publisher is not only the best port of entry to this world for poets from all latitudes, but also a wonderful meeting point. I am very proud to be a part of this community dedicated to poetry, which is undoubtedly the most irrefutable proof of the human condition.
