Agnes Scott Langeland is a Scottish university lecturer and translator living in Norway. She has an MA degree in Social Anthropology and English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. Her literary translations include short stories by Kjell Askildsen in: The Norwegian Feeling for Real (2005), Words Without Borders (August 2008) and Fiction (No. 59, 2013), a novel by Dag Solstad, Professor Andersen's Night (2011), which was longlisted for The Independent Foreign Fiction Prize, poems by Rune Christiansen in Words Without Borders (Dec. 2011) and several graphic novels.
