Bohdan Piasecki is a poet
and translator from Poland
with a particular interest in
multilingual writing and
voice as a medium for poetry.
He founded the first poetry
slam in Poland in 2003, before
moving to the UK to pursue
a doctorate in translation
studies. A prolific performer,
he has toured in over 27
countries and in 2023 he
won the inaugural Forward
Prize for Best Single Poem -
Performed. Bohdan teaches
Creative Writing at the
University of Birmingham.
