Christopher Whyte UK

Christopher Whyte was born in Glasgow in 1952. He lived in Italy between 1973 and 1985 and taught Scottish Literature at the University of Glasgow from 1990 to 2005. He is now based in Budapest and writes full-time. Two of his four novels in English won Scottish Arts Council awards. His third and fourth collections of poems in Gaelic are published this year.
