Michelle Cahill Australia

Michelle Cahill was born in Kenya, lived in the UK and resides in Sydney. Her poems have been widely anthologised. She has received grants from the Literature Board of the Australia Council; she was a Fellow at Hawthornden Castle and at Kingston University, London. Her prizes include the Val Vallis Award and the Hilary Mantel International Short Story Prize. She was highly commended in the Blake Poetry Prize and was shortlisted in the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards and the Newcastle Poetry Prize.
