Nick Havely

Nick Havely (editor; Introduction, Notes and Postscript nos 1-2, 5-6 and 11) is Emeritus Professor of English and Related Literature at the University of York. His recent publications include Dante (Blackwell Guides to Literature, 2007) and Dante’s British Public: Readers and Texts, from the Fourteenth Century to the Present (OUP, 2014). He has received Leverhulme and Bogliasco Fellowships and was recently elected an Honorary Member of the Dante Society of America. Current projects are a collection of essays, Dante Beyond Borders: Contexts and Reception (to be published by Legenda in 2021) and a book on travellers in the Apennines.
