From DAVID ROSE, writer
I was very upset to hear of the loss of funding by Arc. When I started writing in the late Eighties, Arc, along with Iron and a few others, were central in their role as outlets for poetry and short stories.
That remains the case. Despite the advent of online publishing, small presses are the lifeblood of literature for unknown writers, when mainstream publishers show little interest in anything other than the novel.
A landscape without Arc seems inconceivable. Do please re-consider the funding of Arc Publications.
