Instituto Cervantes is a non profit-making institution set up in Spain in 1991 to promote and teach Spanish and to spread the culture of Spain and Spanish-speaking countries. Our branches both in Manchester and Leeds, are actively involved with different cultural and educational institutions from United Kingdom, with the main aim to build a bridge between both countries and cultures.

We have worked with Arc Publications in the past of what it was a very successful collaboration, therefore we look forward to working with Arc Publications in the near future.
We would like to express our admiration for the invaluable work they do. Nearly four years ago we established contact for the first time, the project at the time was to publish a book with a selection of poems by some Basque writers, the poems were written in Basque and then translated into English. Instituto Cervantes got involved in this project as we thought it was important to help. Basque language is to be said the ancient language in Europe but largely unknown by most people outside its land.

Looking at the portfolio of Arc Publications and the way they work, we can feel they do a very important task, as they look after the work of so many talented-known and unknown people and writers-, not only in United Kingdom but in Europe. They truly help to promote, language, literature and poetry.

It will be really sad and a loss if they stopped doing that fantastic job with the Literature.
