My friend and poet Eli Tolaretxipi told me that you had lost your funding. As a poet and composer myself living in London, I am acutely aware of the gnawing at the foundations of arts and cultural organizations such as yours, and am affected by it myself. I would like to lend my support to your campaign to secure funding and to also expressmy great disappointment that you have lost your current funding. The UK will become increasingly isolationist and ignorant as more and more organizations such as yours lose vital funds to continue vital work. With increased isolation from the rest of the world comes increased fear and arrogance which breeds racism, stereotyping and feeds into more judgmental viewpoints about other cultures.
