I'm so sorry, Tony and Angela - I'm a Maltese writer and met you at the Prague Book Fair some years ago. When I read of the cuts, I immediately came to check on you. I really am sad because I know how it feels – here, Literature is the Cinderella of the Arts, and the Arts are the Cinderella of our society. Even in Malta, we are encouraged by publishers like you, hoping we'll make it to International literature some day.
