I'm very sorry indeed to hear this. Arc is an outstanding independent publisher, whose poetry in translation list has simply been unparalleled in Britain for its readiness to look outside the usual channels. It has been especially responsive to the changes in nations, languages and cultures in Eastern Europe over the last two decades, and has been an essential channel of communication between British poetry and that of the countries emerging from Communism. Really one can't imagine a dialogue between contemporary British poetry and the rest of Europe without Arc.
