I deeply regret the withdrawal of Arts Council funding from Arc. They are doing wonderful work. Susan Wicks' translation of Valerie Rouzeau has already received the recognition it deserves; David Black's Claiming Kindred will, in time, be recognized as the finest volume of poetry for many decades. And no other series of poetry in translation does anything comparable to 'Visible Poets'.
