I am shocked to hear that Arc will be losing its 2012 arts council funding. In these times of commercial publishing, Arc has doggedly continued to publish quality poetry and perhaps even more importantly, poetry in translation. Without Arc the poetry community will be losing an important voice. I hope that there is still time to reverse this decision.
