From VALERIE ROUZEAU, poet
As a French poet translated by Susan Wicks and edited by Arc, and as a translator also (Ted Hughes, Sylvia Plath among others I translated for Gallimard) I just cannot understand the decision of Arts Council Funding, my own French publishers admire Arc as one among the best publishers of foreign poetry, making poets "visible" at last, a great work, some sort of a wonder indeed !
Please do something, the world needs poetry, especially NOW ! it is more than a VOW. Go on supporting Arc.
