I was very sorry indeed to learn that Arc has lost its Arts Council Funding from 2012.
Arc is a highly regarded publisher both nationally and internationally. It makes a massive contribution to contemporary poetry publishing, especially in the field of translated poetry. The work Arc publishes is of the highest calibre and I am personally very proud to have had my first collection published by Arc in 2003. Arc has played a crucial role in my development as a poet and writer.
It would be a tragedy if Arc’s ground-breaking publishing activities are unable to continue into the future.
