I am utterly shocked by the Arts Council's decisions. As I am sure you know Enitharmon has been treated as badly as you have. I think it is brutal and shows no understanding of what funding is for. I find it hard to believe that a very successful commercial firm such as Faber's is given funding.
It is heartening that both you and Enitharmon are not going to give up. I know Stephen has received a lot of supportive messages and I wanted to send you one. Friends and authors of both these publishers I know will offer practical support too in whatever way they can. As I talk about Enitharmon and look for practical support I shall also mention Arc.
